SIM unlock possible without ActiveSync?

hi all,

my T-Mobile Vario 3 has a damaged pin or something on the mini USB port and so i can't sync it with ActiveSync/Windows Mobile Device Center, but it charges fine so i've never bothered looking into getting it repaired since i can sync with Exchange etc no probs over 3G.

does anyone know if it's possible to SIM unlock the phone without using the USB connection at all?

yeah tried syncing over BT but that doesn't work unfortunately. once it tries to replace the ROM etc it cuts out the BT connection

You could flash the radio rom from your micro sd card.

You HAVE to have a connection to a PC to unlock AFAIK.
