Guest Candar Posted June 15, 2008 Report Posted June 15, 2008 (edited) As i have been exploring my new Blackjack II and the various pitfalls of windows mobile standard, one problem in particular stands out to me. This problem is that most software is designed for PocketPC, and thus requires a touchscreen to operate, despite the fact that the smartphone hardware is more than capable of installing and running most PocketPC apps. One way i have seen this handled within MoDaCo and fairly universally on the internet is using Virtual Cursor apps (IE SPHelper). I find these fairly unwieldy and taxing to use, so I have been searhing for another way. The main issue i have seen with most programs is not the neccesity of a cursor, but an inability to otherwise access the dropdown menus of the program to configure it to work. Obviously this is not always the case, but fairly it is that simple. So my question is this: Is there a smartphone app that simply assigns a key or button to select a program's dropdown menus? Can i configure this as a setting? It seems like it would be a fairly simple program to create if such an option does not exist, so finally how feasable would it be to write such an app?
