External Microphone

So i got the Resco Audio Recorder installed, but the sound quality from the internal mic sucks. I was wondering if the stereo 3.5 mm adapter would work for this.

I would say it wouldnt. I believe the stereo is for OUTPUT only, such as using headphones, or hooking it to a aux input in your car. I don't think it supports INPUT, such as a mic....but again, I am not for positive!
