Guest Posted June 18, 2008 Report Posted June 18, 2008 I bought my BJ2 refurbished for 50 dollars from att, ive been having the warrent plan on it, and im now coming to somei ssues with mp3's not playing... highly doubtful its related, but nonetheless http://www.modaco.com/content/samsung-i617...mp3s-dont-play/ thast the issue, but on another note, are there any thing comments/feelings you guys have about refurbished smartphones? the case/screen were in perfect condition, what exactly does the manufacturer do when they refurbish phones? and where do they get the phones to refubish?
Guest hagie92 Posted June 18, 2008 Report Posted June 18, 2008 They get them from many places, usually they are just brand new phones that people dislike, bring back, and then AT&T (or other carrier) is required to send them back to Samsung. Samsung usually does a check on the phone, cosmetically and physically, and if it works, then they'll repackage and send it to you! If something is wrong with the phone, they will usually repair the part that is broken, package, and send the phone to you! I have no problem with this, they still have a limited warrenty, so if it messes up, you get another. Hey, you cant tell the difference, and you save $50! Haha, I really doubt it's because it's refurbished, but nonetheless, this is a weird problem (i've never heard of it) and a hard reset MAY or MAY NOT fix it. The guy in that other post seemed reluctant to try it...but if you would like, plz do! haha IT WILL DELETE ALL DATA! Hold up and turn on the phone at the same time! Good Luck, Hagie92
