Get around Device Lock??

Hello,

I found an extraordinary deal on a BJ2 on ebay, and the only thing that is wrong with it, is that the person forgot their dang Unlock Code, so the phone is practically useless. Is there a way to get around this??

I would be careful about someone trying to sell a phone but forgetting the unlock code.

Sounds more like the phone may be stolen or possibly barred depending what country you are in.

You are very right. Thanks for pointing that out...im a very nosey type of person, and i still think it would be cool to know, for instance, on a Motorola phone, if they have an unlock code, you can hit the Menu button (even though it doesnt show it) and if they havent changed the security code, then you can get past! I just was wondering how hard it would be on our phone, the blackjack 2. :D

Can't you just pop the battery out, put it back in, then do a hard reset instead of letting it boot all the way?

Yeah, that's what I thought. If it's just the device lock, just hard reset?
