Guest Paul (MVP) Posted June 19, 2008 Report Posted June 19, 2008 An very bargainalicious deal for our UK readers courtesy of hotukdeals on the very well specified and rather likeable iPaq 614c. By visiting Quidco, clicking through to the HP store, entering the code 'HPOPTF' for a £40 discount and then filling in this rebate form, you can snag your new iPaq for an incredible £217.62 inc. plus £50 cashback plus a further 8% quidco cashback! Guest Posted June 19, 2008 Report Posted June 19, 2008 I can't recommend the iPaq 614c enough it's a great device. And at that price, I'd snap one up quick. Shame I paid slightly more for mine but I suppose that's my fault for being impatient and getting in there early! :D
Guest spider Posted June 19, 2008 Report Posted June 19, 2008 why... WHY... are UK ALWAYS he lucky ones to get these bargains...i paid nearly 400£ for my unit (in Danish kroner) :D But for sure it is worth the money...
Guest Dade Posted June 19, 2008 Report Posted June 19, 2008 Cool, and HP recommends Vista Home Premium - that'd be cool on the 614! :D
Guest Metoo Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 (edited) Don't these suffer from appalling battery life and a serious bug that means the network stays disconnected if it loses the 3G signal? Or have these issues been fixed? Oh, and the concencus on HUKD is that using £40 discount promotion (for signing up to email) would mean you won't qualify for cashback (as the T&C say offers cannot be combined). Guest Paul (MVP) Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 I've not had that 3G problem, and battery life has been on par with my V3 (that said, I only occasionally get 3G service!) Shame if they don't honour the cashback! Even without that (just with Quidco), a good price! P
Guest CEO Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 I wonder if you could get both £40 discount and £50 cash back?
Guest Metoo Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 (edited) I wonder if you could get both £40 discount and £50 cash back? Err, did you even bother reading the last two posts? :D Anyway it's acedemic as the deal has expired, and eBuyer's price is also back over £320. Best prices now seem to be around 240-260 (exc. cashback) Edited June 22, 2008 by Metoo
