Special characters appended when tried to send sms to a shortcode in moto q

When i tried to send an sms to our own server, some special characters appended to the sms.

The actual text i m sending is "Hello" but when i receive it in our server its like "H?e?l?l?o".

Before sending the sms i m logging the text and it shows as "Hello".

i have tested the application with treo,t-mobile, moto q, samsung blackjack. But the problem occurs only in Moto Q.

It wolud be gr8 if u can help me to solve this..
