Tmobile Dash with WM6.1 - 'z' key issue

Hi,

i have recently installed wm6.1(kavanna ROM 1.33.422.1) on my TMobile Dash(followed steps from

) and everything is all fine except for this -

When i press * key(also 'z' key) from the home screen Or contacts screen, it gets mapped to 'y' (and not 'z' as expected). So this leads me no way to look/search for a contact in my contacts that start with 'z', except that i have to scroll through.

I tried various key mapping text files(eT9.Excalibur.0410.kmap.txt and all that stuff) posted on other Modaco topis(as well as on howard forumz), but they all affect the key-mapping when typing SMS/or a text.. none changed the behaviour of 'z' key on home screen/contact screen.

This is my first query here.. pardon if i have missed any detail.
