Decerting this phone

Hey everyone, as you can probably assume form this post, im pretty new to modding phones. But, i bought my HTC TOUCH and i want to be

able to put on some applications, but i've tried to use the regeditstg file and when i click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHNE, nothing happens.

So if someone could give me a link to an unlocking guide for this phone it would be much appreciated, thanks
