Why I Still Use Windows Despite the Peer Pressure

Windows makes sense for a lot of people, sure... But I think for mainstream web browsers and email freaks, as well as the graphically-inclined photographers and video editors, OSX will always be a more logical choice.

That's just my opinion. I've used both OS for many years, and I definitely prefer the simplicity and stability of OSX over Windows.

I still use windows because every time I try Linux or another OS, I just keep thinkin "I can do this quicker in windows". I have a Microsoft Certified background and I'm very familiar with most microsoft technologies.

Id love to get an Apple Mac, but even so, their applications also have windows alternatives. Recently looking at a new laptop 17" workhorse type, the MacBook PRO was far more expensive than the Windows alternative. So other than a name, why should I pay more money to switch?!

I've recently tried OSX under VMWare in windows, and it worked really well. When I get a newer laptop I might try it again and see how it fares!
