Guest Paul (MVP) Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 HTC Touch Diamond Extended Battery incl Cover BP E270 - 1340 mAh - includes replacement back - eXpansys - 41 quid + P&P DONE! :( P PS Won't this create a load of extra space in the back of your device? Handy for keeping your spare change I suppose :D PPS More pics in second post!
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 Let me be the first to say... CHA-CHING! :D P
Guest NikLP Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 This sorta looks like it will make the camera suffer though, it appears that the case is now further away from the lens...?
Guest Tomchap Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 This could work in favour, altho im not sure. I think it all depends whether a piece of plastic is used to cover the camera or not. If its scratch resistant then great but im 99% sure its just a standard diamond cover design, just bigger. Will have to see but I dont think itll improve the camera, but i dont think itll make the camera any worse. £41 total price tho, may have alook around and see what else is out there! Seems a bit pricey to me.
Guest davidkidjenson Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 how much will this add to the thicknes of the diamond, could someone measure it . if its not to thick then its well worth the money
Guest xiuhan83 Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 Found another extended battery for Diamond This one is 1800 mAH from clove.co.uk half the price of expansys http://www.clove.co.uk/viewProduct.aspx?Ma...DD-44D1B2BEF716
Guest Posted June 27, 2008 Report Posted June 27, 2008 Why not work a proper capacity battery into the thing in the 1st place HTC??!!
Guest Ingvarr Posted June 29, 2008 Report Posted June 29, 2008 (edited) Why not work a proper capacity battery into the thing in the 1st place HTC??!! Because a lot of people prefer small thickness/weight over battery life. Personally I think I will go with third-party 1800MAh, its cheaper and utilizes back space more efficiently without making device too "prismy". Edited June 29, 2008 by Ingvarr

Guest Paul (MVP) Posted July 3, 2008 Report Posted July 3, 2008 It's not in stock as yet is it? My concern is will it still fit in my lovely leather case :D P
Guest FlangeArtist Posted July 3, 2008 Report Posted July 3, 2008 It's not in stock as yet is it? My concern is will it still fit in my lovely leather case :D P VErY good point! Will they just hurry up and get some in stock so we can tell :-) Is someone from Modaco going to be able to get one to 'trial' and let us Joe Public know?
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted July 3, 2008 Report Posted July 3, 2008 I'll do my best! I'm reluctant to buy otherwise due to the case issue... P
Guest wardy Posted July 3, 2008 Report Posted July 3, 2008 "half the price of expansys" Suprise Suprise half the price of expensive :D
Guest Mysterious Stranger Posted July 3, 2008 Report Posted July 3, 2008 "half the price of expansys" Suprise Suprise half the price of expensive :D To be fair, you're comparing a Hong Kong 'Cameron Sino' brand non genuine battery and cheap nasty rear cover to a branded HTC oem one. I had a 'Cameron Sino' Qtek 9100 extended battery. The battery seemed fine, the cover was horrendous and didn't fit properly. They may well be expensive, but it's like comparing the price of Stella at Asda to Tesco value lager.... M.S
Guest Pupsiks Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 Some stocks waiting it in 12August http://www.inkino.co.uk/zen/index.php?main...roducts_id=2408
Guest deadphill Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 Ha ha When you click on larger picture, its approximately 0% bigger!! Cant really see the difference in size with that, maybe that's a good thing or else maybe its deliberate? Cheers Phill
Guest rav1patel Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 def need a bigger battery but thats quite a bit. don't mind if i'ts a little thicker. the standard battery is a joke and is the achilles heel of my diamond.
