Hey Guys,

Just got the blackjack 2, I am still within my 30days. So I wanted to find out if this was normal or a defect. Whenever I charge my phone, it doesn't always go to full sometimes stops at 90% but whatever. Anyways it seems if I leave it on the charger, once the light turns green the battery starts to discharge. If I remove it as soon as it turns green the battery gauge (settings > power) is usually full, however if say I leave it on over night it will deplete about 20-25%. I even tested it while driving, turned green took it off battery was 100%. Then I put it back on the charger, went red for a sec then green. Waited about 20mins took it off and the battery was down 10-15%.

So hrm.. normal?

I will probably just exchange it but I put on of those shieldguard protectors on it - just the screen I know they have a lifetime warranty and I think I can just request a new one but you still have to pay for shipping heh.

My battery meter never has made it all the way to full, unless I let it charge til the light gets green, unplug it, turn it off, and then plug it back in. Haha, I think it's just a problem with the meter, my phone seems to get pretty good battery life.

Yeah I am wondering with mine, the bar just seems really odd. I just don't get all that great battery life, I mean I am also used to my sony ericcson w810i which gets like 9 hours talk time.

Like today I charged it @ 8 used the internet for like an hour or so and by 1pm I am at 75%.. I don't know maybe I just expecting a bit too much. :-)

I think the battery charge rate is COMPLETELY off. First off, it doesnt show a complete charge (i would say the meter usually stops at 85-90%) ...once it gets to 75% and below range, it is super slow...like use it for a 1/2 a day at 75% and come back and it MAY be at 60%. if you want a good hard test, just use it until the battery goes out. I live with my phone in my hand, (8,000+ text/mo) and I've squeezed out 3 days without a charge before.

hope it helps!

Cool thank you very much, I just wanted to make sure when in the 30day period lol. I noticed its highly inaccurate thogh. I will run it til no bars and it takes forever to finally cut off its odd. Thanks for the response :D
