Guest jimbouk Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 So today was supposed to be the 500mb "unlimited" launch... If you look at their panther deals they have "unlimited mobile browsing" and when I clicked the chat icon a friendly person told me there was no FUP and no limit. She wouldn't email me confirmation though. If you ring OCS, they will offer you "unlimited" at 250mb... I am close to giving up...
Guest chucky.egg Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 Ah, I remember those days well. A few weeks back Vodafone sent me a text to say they'd automatically upgraded my account to 500Mb (from 120Mb) because it's now standard on their £7.50/m deal. I admire your patience/masochism
Guest Neil5459 Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 They are now advertising the new plans on site- any plan of £30 per month or more has 'unlimited' mobile internet. I rang to ask what that meant and was told there was a FUP of 500MB, that the plans were for new customers only at present, but would be available for the forseeable future. Mobile access only (ie no tethering), no streaming and no VOIP. No WM devices on the phone list for the plans available, but apparently Diamond is about 2-3 weeks away and may well be included at a charge. All current phones, including 'premium' ones are free on these plans except N95 at £30 and an exotic Nokia at £200 :D
