Guest darthbane2k Posted July 11, 2008 Report Posted July 11, 2008 The topic says it all...... what do we reckon? Thanks It doesnt really matter - theres no memory effect on these batteries, but maybe 3 hours or so? You can use the phone while its charging of course
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted July 11, 2008 Report Posted July 11, 2008 The normal suggestion is to give it four hours but you will find with new devices especially if it's recently off the production line the battery will probably be fully charged when you get it. As for memory effect Li-ion batteries still have a memory effect as such but it is much less pronounced that the Ni-mh and ni-cd. Chances are will probably never notice it until the bayyery starts to fail. Li-ion batteries are designed to take a minimum of 500 charges. Just make sure you keep the battery topped up and don't try to fully discharge it or damage will occur.
Guest ~Rob Posted July 11, 2008 Report Posted July 11, 2008 I used it until the battery was dead and then charged it overnight. This is what I usually do and don't notice any bad side effects
