Guest awarner (MVP) Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 Welcome to the site. The only application you need is Activesync if you use XP or Device Center if you use Vista. Both applications are free and can be downloaded from MS. Activesync can be downloaded from HERE And Device Center can be downloaded from HERE As to making the drive into a USB mass storage device you need WM5torage by Ingvarr which can be downloaded from the Downloads section HERE Of course to use the application you need to download it to your phone or use the links above to first download it to your PC then transfer it over to your device.

Thank you for the help, Activesync was a lot easier than it sounded at first. Is there an advantage to having WM5torage? Also, is there a way to get videos from youtube onto the phone? Thanxs
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted July 16, 2008 Report Posted July 16, 2008 Glad I could be of some help :D Regarding youtube there are some threads on the site relating to this but personally I have never tried. With WM5torage the only real use it has as such if if you want to shift data between computers without having to use use Activesync. I use the application between home and work as the work pc does not have Activesync installed.
