Guest rameses Posted July 18, 2008 Report Posted July 18, 2008 Probably a daft question and the answer more than likely it's 'not', but can the internal flash storage be increased. I ask because I was clearing out some old phones the other day and found an old Nokia 5510 (a great big mp3 player thing with loads of buttons) that allegedly only has internal memory but in fact had an MMC card fixed to the internal board so could be swapped if the phone was dismantled. So the question is has technology moved on since this beast was unleashed or is there a chance that the diamond has a micro sd card buried inside that can be swapped.
Guest James Posted July 18, 2008 Report Posted July 18, 2008 I cant see one looking through internal images... so i guess the answer is no... :D

Guest Paul (MVP) Posted July 18, 2008 Report Posted July 18, 2008 Funny, the Diamond uses this: http://www.samsung.com/global/business/sem...s_MoviNAND.html which IS basically a memory card inside it somewhere :D P

Guest Confucious Posted July 22, 2008 Report Posted July 22, 2008 It's more like a chip and as the package size of the 4Gb is 11.5 X 13 and the 16Gb is 14 X 18 (and only an engineering sample at present) I would have thought the chances of being able to upgrade are somewhere close to zero....
