Guest dt18997 Posted July 19, 2008 Report Posted July 19, 2008 (edited) Hi, Has anyone run across a problem that you can see the email or sms on the message list but when you go to the message I have a black screen. Anythoughts? thanks I've just noticed now that I can't even see what I'm tyoing as a reply to sms and probably emails now. Edited July 20, 2008 by dt18997
Guest hagie92 Posted July 20, 2008 Report Posted July 20, 2008 hello there, I hope I can help. Do you have any 3rd party apps that could be interfering? Also, I wonder if a hard reset would do the trick, (it will delete all your personal info., press up and the ON/OFF button at the same time. If that doesn't help, take your phone back and ask for a refund. -hagie92

Guest hagie92 Posted July 20, 2008 Report Posted July 20, 2008 I know of a progam called sprite backup that may work well for you. Also, the installation CD that came with the BJ2 has a program called Media Wizard 3.0 that can backup your emails and SMS messages. Hope it helps, Hagie92
Guest Confucious Posted July 20, 2008 Report Posted July 20, 2008 Isn't this just the problem caused by, IIRC, attachments being stored on the memory card being corrupted? Jeyo Outlook extender will back up SMS and, presumably your emails are already synced with Outlook? Just delete your message store on your memory card and re-sync.

So if I delete the messages on my memory card, it might fix it? I'd like to be able to try and correct this problem without maviung to lose everything in a hard reset. thanks What si an IIRC? Guest dt18997 Posted July 22, 2008 Report Posted July 22, 2008 scroll up Thanks for the help. I did a hard reset and then reloaded all my apps. Was there an easier way that this? Anyway, Thanks for everything.
Guest Confucious Posted July 22, 2008 Report Posted July 22, 2008 So you didn't bother trying what I suggested?, Oh well, a hard rest worked.

So I should try deleting the messages onmy memory card to see if it would work right? I did save all my sms using jeyo outlook extender. frm there I wasn't too sure what to do.

Is there a more direct way to fix what is wrong with it? I don't have my sms stored on my memory card i think.
