Guest bailey boy Posted July 22, 2008 Report Posted July 22, 2008 When I hard reset my phone am I putting all registry changes back to stock? I am having the hardest time w/ Active Sync and getting my phone back to working condition. If not... Is there somewhere I can download the stock registry for my phone?
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted July 22, 2008 Report Posted July 22, 2008 A hard reset will restore your phone to its factory settings, this includes the registry.
Guest dtphantom Posted July 23, 2008 Report Posted July 23, 2008 Does a hard reset affect contacts? Yes as was stated above a hard reset puts the phone to same state it was when you get it out of the box.
Guest deadphill Posted July 23, 2008 Report Posted July 23, 2008 Assuming of course you have not put a cooked rom on! Cheers Phill

Guest Keropi Posted July 31, 2008 Report Posted July 31, 2008 Speaking of the registry does anybody know how to modify the profile settings in the registry? I modifyed the volume of the normal profile to have a higher volume but eveytime I switch to silent and switch back to normal I have to edit the registry again. I would like to permanently modify it.
Guest Confucious Posted July 31, 2008 Report Posted July 31, 2008 Does that mean it will be debranded or still have the att stuff on it. If it has an ATT ROM on iit their branding will be in the ROM. It resets to the original ROM settings.
