Guest hp1 Posted July 29, 2008 Report Posted July 29, 2008 Hello all, A while ago a rattle developed inside my M700 (as it turns out one of the small screws next to the rotating vibrate thing had come loose) and when I put it back together after 'fixing' it the screen had a pink tinge to it and complex colors (ie photos) wont display properly. There are no dead pixels and no damage to the screen so i'm hoping its repairable. A hard reset does nothing and therefore I doubt using a different ROM would make a difference. I was hoping someone else may have had a similar issue (not in a bad way tho!) and managed to fix it. Is there any kind of Pocket PC diagnostic software I can use to help isolate the cause of the problem? Its my spare phone now that I got a Diamond but i'd like to get it working properly. Cheers

Cheers Did you unclip the LCD ribbon? You may not have pushed it back in hard / far enough. I'd try that first. M.S
