Custom Sounds in Alarm

My custom sounds are not listed within the alram program. They are listed in reminders ringtones etc. Is there a specific folder they need to be placed in or is it just not possible

it is possible but only accepts wav-files. you can use a third-party plugin like cradlealarm to pick regular music files from anywhere in your system. cradlealarm (and others) also allow you to snooze, which is something i desperately need for my morning alarm ;-)
