Is there a run around?

Hello all :D

I just purchased my new BJ2 and am pretty new to the smart phone scene.

This site is great but I am having trouble finding what I am looking for..., please link me to the correct thread if there already is one.

Does anyone know if there is a way to have WMP running in the background while trying to navigate to other things on the phone? It seems to shut down whenever I try to access anything else.

For example, I would like to be able to listen to music while I am possibly playing a game or updating contacts, typing note, ect.

If this is not possible, is there another media player out there that can do this?

Thank you so much in advance for any info you guys might have!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you just navigate to Options->Playback and uncheck "Pause while using another program" in WMP you should get what you want done.

I use GSplayer when I'm doing other stuff on my phone because it seems to use less memory when running in the background.

Hope this helps. :D

Thanks so much for the simple help. I feel kind of embarrassed for not finding this on my own lol. Sometimes woring with something new can be so overwhelming that you forget to look at the basics(options) lol. Also, thank you for the link, I will def. check out the player you suggested!

Thanks again-PIN
