compact 4 and diamond backs and chargers compatible?

Hey, I tried searching but didn't come up with any concrete answers just "i think but i'm not sures"

So here goes, is the back cover on the diamond compatible with the compact 4? I'm looking more towards the extended battery's here which require a bigger back as there are none with flat backs, but lots of ebay sellers seem adamant that it will work.

Also anyone know if a diamond charging cradle will work with the compact 4 as again sellers on ebay seem to think so, but looking at there pictures the docks seem to have cut outs at the back like the diamond to fit.

I asked the people at GPSFORLESS on eBay if their dock was compatible, they said they hadn't tried it personally but users said it fitted. Ive ordered one and they said if it doesnt fit i can send it back. Ill let you know how that goes

Guess I'll have to invest in a car charger cause i'm lucky if I get 12-18 hours of moderate use out of my compact IV :D

had any experience with the desktop cradles though?

expansys have the mda iv version of cradle on pre-order so its coming soon!

Yeah, I noticed, that ones been availible to preorder ages so dunno if thats coming that soon, plus I would prefer a 3rd party one as I'll be wanting 2 so £60 is alot of money for cradles lol. i'll keep an eye on it though thanks

Hey,

I got that one from GPSFORLESS, the phone is "compatible" but it doesnt fit. It wobbles left to right and backwards and forwards. I'm going to try using more bluetack to make a tighter fit.

It's alright...but without extra support form bluetack I worry it may damage the USB connector over time.

Do you know if the back cover of the O2 XDA Diamond (as issued in Germany) is compatible with the HTC Touch Diamond? The fronts look the same shape (as opposed to the curvier Compact IV) so I'm hoping they might fit as I don't like the standard HTC back cover.

That brings me to my next question ... do you know if the O2 XDA Ignito (are they really calling it that?) is physically the same as the German XDA Diamond?

I THINK it is physically the same as the O2 DE one, but I can't be sure.
