How to get GPS on BJ2?

Ok.....I installed google maps on my BJ2, but everytime I try to connect it says "this program requires a data connection"

Isn't there a way I can use GPS without having a data plan??

U only need a data plan so that google can get the maps. if u want masp u could always load garmin maps or something like that. Google maps will actively get data to update it's maps since it doesn't store it on the phone unlike garmin or tom tom.

Hi sorry to hijack your thread, even i had the same problem. I too dont have a data plan. Where do we get Garmin or Tomo Tom Maps. And is it sufficient if we

1)Install the cab file

2) download the map to the card

3) what else do we need to do? what software do we need to install to use GPS?

Also if you could point me to where i can get maps it will be really helpful. I am a newbie to all this actually.
