Any sign of the 6cells in the UK?

Or does one have to hack together a 9cell as per the wind forums.

Out of curiosity how long does the default battery last for?

I get about 2 to 2 and a half hours with the 3 cell. No 6 cells yet :D

That doesn't really sound good especially since batteries also deteriorate with time.

My 5 year old TR1MP is still holding its ground....

It's around 20% slower than the wind, much slower HDD and not as impressive at HD video.

On the plus side I have a lovely glossly wide screen running at 1280x768 and the extended battery gives me 5.5hrs minimum at 'full' load ie max LCD and max CPU running SETI.

but since upgrading the Sony is a mare(200 for memory alone and it's near impossible sourcing a 1.8"ssd) I'm very much considering the wind.

The wind can also be easily upgraded and for a lot cheaper (2.5" HDD are a lot easier to source)

Here's hoping we get 6 cells for the wind... I prolly could live with the lower resolution.
