Guest Subliminal Aura Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 Question is: How big is the battery? P LOL crap as usual ? :D BTW pushing the price envelope a little I came across the u110 http://www.trustedreviews.com/notebooks/ne...tails-Leaked/p1 Now that does look interesting now where to get one is the issue. US$ indicate a price at around £800-900 Key features. PROPER screen Dual core 3 gig of RAM possible. (? unconfirmed) Oh batterylife (crap as usual ? unconfirmed :D )
Guest Subliminal Aura Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 Looks like another MSI clone with 3cell / 6 cell options http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1895,2327025,00.asp
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 Yeah, that looks OK. Sweet spot for me: - Minimum 1024x600 res - Minimum 10" screen (i'm getting old, lol!) - ideal, Maximum 12" screen (prefer 10" tho) - Minimum 5 hours battery life - Bluetooth - WiFi - Ideally OSX friendly (including swappable ALT + Windows keys ideally!) - Easily upgradable to at least 2GB RAM with standard modules - Easily upgradable HDD with standard parts (2.5") - Compact power brick - Maximum £300 The MSI Wind / Advent is a good fit (with the 6 cell!) P

P Have to agree with you Paul on all points but would love near 800pixels down(it makes a heck of a difference) ... I've got too used to laying in bed with the TR1 at 1280x768 that nothing else is going to compare but that could be just me ! Cheers !
