Guest vii_voo Posted August 13, 2008 Report Posted August 13, 2008 Does anyone know if there will be flat extended battery cover for the MDA Compact IV?
Guest spangelsaregreat Posted August 13, 2008 Report Posted August 13, 2008 Does anyone know if there will be flat extended battery cover for the MDA Compact IV? Expansys have one coming soon, but it is about £40.
Guest vii_voo Posted August 13, 2008 Report Posted August 13, 2008 Expansys have one coming soon, but it is about £40. With a flat back cover? Please provide URL.

Guest vii_voo Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 Heres a thought, why not go to Expansys and search! I already had, but could not find one with a flat back cover!

Guest vii_voo Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 Does anyone know how much thicker and heavier the phone will be with this battery?
Guest Kevlarski Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 I think the Diamond extended battery (1800mAh) adds 8mm to the depth. Not sure about MDA though. http://www.tracyandmatt.co.uk/blogs/index....ended_battery_1

According to Paul, HTC claim that the Diamond will still fit in its pouch with the extended battery. Go to the page below and see EXACTLY how much bigger the Compact will be with the extended battery, as it is being sold with the bigger battery in US/Canada (maybe cos they have bigger pockets or something??!) http://promo.telusmobility.com/smartphones...uctStateDIAMOND
Guest loki_f Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 Does anyone know if anyone else selling an extended battery kit for the HTC Victor/P3702 or MDA Compact IV. I never thought I would ever get along with a touch screen device but I am absolutely in love with my Compact IV (now that it has been debranded of the T-Mobile junk) - but the battery life leaves a lot to be desired. Somebody must already have an extended battery kit out there... I really don't want to wait until Expansys release theirs....
Guest Fleabag Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 (edited) There's always the OEM sized extended battery, but that only offers an extra 100mAh. Edited September 9, 2008 by Fleabag
Guest loki_f Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 There's always the OEM sized extended battery, but that only offers an extra 100mAh. Both Expansys and EasyDevices have this in stock now. I got mine from EasyDevices and am very happy with it. Just for the incredibly picky out there, it comes with the Victor back cover (with the funky line pattern on it), and is almost black as opposed to the T-Mobile version (which has a very dark champagne colour). http://www.easydevices.co.uk/pp/T-Mobile_A...FE_BATTERY.html http://www.expansys.com/p.aspx?partner=modaco&i=171125

It is the 1800 one so lasts a bit longer. Get about 5 and a half hours of continuous Tom Tom out of it. Good if you can live with the hump. Regards
