Help My DVD has stopped working

Bought a cd rw dvd and plugged it in worked a treat. Came back the other day got as far as open in file manager and now keep getting path home/user/cdrw4342 GVW does not exist. No idea what to do as everything else I have stuck into the e has worked and as I said this worked the first time I tried it. Have changed nothing on the e as have no clue so just use it like a windows machine not geeky enough to mod anything! :D

I assume you have tried the usual like rebooting the laptop and see ing if it works?

And checking that all cables are plugged in correctly? What about unmounting and remounting it?
