Guest DaZelator Posted August 21, 2008 Report Posted August 21, 2008 I have been looking for the specifications and availability of the TV-Out Cable for the Samsung i900 Omnia (hence, with S20pin interface). It seems to be the same as for the D880, G600 and U900: AATCS10CBEC. Only the Samsung Mobile India site is listing this accessoire on http://in.samsungmobile.com/accessory/AATCS10. Googling this product code shows that the cable is not widely available, yet, but found in some Turkish, Greek and German internet shops. Please note that the other TV-Out Cables from Samsung Mobile (i.e. http://uk.samsungmobile.com/accessory/ATC011, http://uk.samsungmobile.com/accessory/ATC012 and http://uk.samsungmobile.com/accessory/ATC020) are probably not compatible with the Omnia due to the different interface. With regard to other cables (e.g. chargers, sync cables, wired headphones), at least the following phone models seem to be using the S20pin interface as well: C450, D880, F210, F250, G600, G800, I450, I550, I560, I780, J700, M600, L760, P520 and U900. Hence, their accessoires might well fit on the Omnia, too. Cheers, DaZelator.

I would know if the TV out signal is a real video composite signal , as reply of the i900 screen , OR if the TV out signal only let the user to see a specific function dedicated , for example , to DIVx ?? In practice , can I obtain a video composite signal to show on a big screen , for example , a page of the opera browser running on the OMNIA ?? Thanks

Guest DaZelator Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 Sorry, but above post #7 answers the last posts in this thread, already... Just Google "AATCS10CBEC" (or "AATCS10CBE" or "AATCS10CB" or "AATCS10C") and you will hit a number of shops selling the right cable. Cheers, DaZelator.

Guest Paul (MVP) Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 It's a little annoying you can't use the TV cable and charge at the same time... P
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 That needs to be addressed, unless you only want to use it for short clips/presentations etc. Hopefully a split cable will be available at some point or someone make a unofficial version. Me goes off to think about soldering more bits and pieces.
