Looking for tool to allow modification of files on WM5 phone

Since I upgraded to Vista I can no longer change files on my WM5 smartphone. I've been told that GSFinder+ was able to do this, but it looks like it's for PPC only and that it actually runs on the phone rather than what ActiveSync used to allow me to do which was edit it from Windows. Are there tools or whatever that would allow me to do what I want to customize my phone?

Sorry for the spam if this is a FAQ...

Bit late in the reply, but what files are you trying to change?

I am assuming you are looking for a tool like Active Sync for Vista . Ms decided to change the name ActiveSync to windows vista device center

get it here : http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-...ice-center.mspx

No. I already have that. The problem is when I "explore the device" I cannot change/delete any of the files on the phone. Apparently it was removed as a "feature" because the wireless providers didn't like the fact that users could customize their phones like that. It could be a rumor, but that's what I heard.

I want to customize the shortcuts for the 4 buttons (t-mobile button/internet, previous track, play/pause, next track) on my SDA. I did once on my first phone with Active Sync. Since then I got a new phone and all my machines are Vista+.
