Guest Sky-Net_Core Posted December 26, 2008 Report Posted December 26, 2008 Hi there! After using and testing it i suggest the coreplayer mobile making use of IntelXscale optimizations. You can reproduce almost all kinds of movie formats... It doesn't reach the HD barrier by a slight margin. The latest version 1.3.0 has a Youtube interface embedded and you can play youtube video's in h264 if you want. If you give it a try... don't forget to set the video output to "Intel XScale" or "Raw video framebuffer" Merry Christmas!

I was having lots of problems with divx films on my Omnia. The only thing I cant play now are films that I have with aac sound but it looks like that support is not going to be forthcoming anytime soon. ask Sky-net says the settings need tweaking (i was getting a bit of picture breakup and no landscape support until I did) but once you do its great. I only wish the battery on the omnia was as good. It gets hammered from video playback.
Guest aridoasis Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 so far, all to****ts i've downloaded and placed in my omnia have played without any problems.

Guest Devin C Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Every video I have played in DIVX format has played perfectly on my Touch Player. No need for me to try Coreplayer (which I tried a year or two ago and hated it).
Guest bobobird Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Everything plays just fine. No need for commercial apps. Another thought for our cooks - removeing players is a no no in my book.
Guest aridoasis Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 is that using the default players, either touch or WMP? I was having a nightmare until i got core player. most vids played well with touch player and wm, but for some unsupported formats, i used core player
