XDA Developers website, is where teh S2U2 app was developed. Loads of details on there. Got it working sweet on my TyTNII. Cant post a link at the moment. But if you search XDA Devs. Or even on here and look for a recent post by l3v5y, he posted link to it.

Did I post a link? :S

It's original thread is here.

If you have issues with it, post in that thread with what ROM you're running, and, if possible the "S2U2.log" and "iLock.log" files from the installation directory...

I may be able to help you, but that thread will give you more info!

I've not had time to play with this since the original post.

Perhaps a small guide would help installing it.... which files etc etc :D

Cheers Dan

It's a cab file. You transfer it to your storage, then run it from your phone. Voila. I have got it and it runs beautifully. Portrait or landscape is no problem! Great piece of freeware!

Sorry to bother you guys. I have just installed this slide to unlock. Have got it working partly, but I was wandering how you can use the weather features. I have them set up in the settings but cannot see anything when go into s2u2. Also is the only way you can get back to s2u2 through the programs or settings screens? Hope you understand what im asking. Many thanks

works a treat!

hi this program dev by ac.. as mentioned b4 check the xda dev for details.

he program install and create A FOLDER S2U2 INSIDE YOU'LL SEE SETTING, ILOCK AND S2U2.

for 1st use try to do the settings. save and tap the s2u2 icon. it should run ok without any problem... ilock for enabling and disabling the s2u2.

i dont know with others but seems there's a conflict with the touch player.... it gives black screen... when playing or the song hangs... i ha to uninstall it at the moment. but if youre not running touch layer it should run without any problem...

Maybe this is why we got power drain problems. i have S2U2 all the time =/

Changes of v1.21

- fixed the bug that ShowAppointment could not display any appointment on some devices again.

- fixed the issue that S2U2 will not be on focus when device wakes up.

- some minor bugs fixed.

(If there is still some problems with v1.21, you may try the beta build at here)

Changes of v1.20

- added the option to lock the device when the LCD is blanked (e.g. by S2P or other music app).

- fixed the bug that the OffLCD did not work on some devices.

- fixed the bug that occasional power drain might occur on some devices when ActiveSync is running in the background.

- fixed the bug that ShowAppointment could not display any appointment on some devices.

- extended the ShowAppointment to display the next week appointments.

- fixed the bug that the registry values looked messy.

(To make it works, after the installation of this version, please run the S2U2 Settings & save the settings once. After the saving, the "Phone No. Format" may be changed to "only". If that's the case, try to reconfigure it with S2U2 Settings & save again.)

- some minor bugs fixed.

finally got around to playing with this.

Running V1.21 now and works a treat.

I had great kinetic scolling in S2u2 settings. After installing FTouchSL to my phone I added S2u2 to the exceptions list, but the scrolling now is awful. Has anyone else got this problem? Wonder how this can be resolved and whether potentially there are other clashes with scrolling apps vs FTouchSL. I tried resetting the phone, making sure all tasks ended/minimised etc. Problem lingers.

Has anyone else noticed a problem with battery drain with this? I installed today 2nd time since I had my omnia but notcie the battery drops from 100-90% in a couple hours & I not used the phone, neither is it getting warm.

Must confess I had a rom fix today as well HJ1 thanks to secany so could be the rom .

Hello all,

Quick related question (more pertaining to S2U2 per se, but maybe some Omnia issues?): I got it installed, but for some reason I cannot get S2U2 to switch to vibrate/silent (like in the S2U2 screen dumps in the announcing thread on xda-devels and other sites). Does that require a special plugin ? Can that be done for Omnia i.e. is there any way to switch to Vibrate / Silent via S2U2.

Currently using v1.22 if that's any help.

TIA,

Florian

First of all, update to 1.31. A_C ist back developing su2u.

You'll get the "silent/vibrate" screen if you press the volume up or down button on your phone. Of course, you'll have to switch on the feature in s2u2 settings (Volume control "on").

Omnia has WQVGA, so QVGA is the right one.

QVGA: 320 x 240

WQVGA: 400 x 240

VGA: 640 x 480

WVGA: 800 x 480

Installed 1.32 but it does not seem to be working 100%.

The screen blanks after the usual time out, but when I press the middle key to wake it up, s2u2 is not active. Is that by design ??

2nd - caller display - on an incoming call, the builtin caller display shows up first and then the s2u2 large screen display kicks in. Is there any setting that will disable the internal caller display window?

Thanks

Ive just tried S2U2 - 1.32 and its working fine.

Which version did you try, Im using QVGA one. I've disabled all buttons on my phone to wake it, other than the power button. I've instinctively got used to turning the phone into sleep mode by pressing the power button too. When I depress the power button, before the screen turns off, I notice S2U2 kick in.

When I turn the screen back on via the power button, s2u2 is active.

Caller display, same issue .... internal caller display thing and then s2u2 caller display.
