Just installed service pack 3 today and everything appeared ok.

Decided to install a game on the old C550 but as soon as the game had installed a sudden bluescreen of death appeared and the pc rebooted itself.

Just wondering if anyone else has had any issues with Sevice pack 3 and Activesync?

Strange. :D

Am running SP3 for 3 months now but haven't encountered BSOD while installing apps and games on old SP units.

How did you guess, interestingly just after the service pack 3 update yesterday, last night another update was installed.

I have WinXP SP3 installed and am running a AMD64 processor. My systems been running like this since SP3 was released. The only problem I've noticed so far is with Active Sync. If I sync my Vario III and then unplug it before shutting down, my computer can't stop the sysfader.exe and will not turn off. If I leave my phone hooked up, the computer will turn off with no problems. Don't ask me why that is. I see it as a new feature from MS. :D Haven't encountered a BSOD though.
