BJ2 Not sending texts- WHY!?

I've had my blackjack2 for a day now and have been texting no problem- until recently.

Now whenever I type out a text and press the softkey "send" nothing happens. NOTHING.

Does anyone have any idea as to why this is happening or as to how to fix it?

Could it have something to do with the network? I'm full bars but no 3G (I've got an antenna showing next to the bars).

There's also an "E" on the status bar at the top.

I decided to post this in the general section 'cause maybe it's something with the firmware.

As long as you have a signal you should be able to send and receive SMS.

Have you tried soft resetting the device ie power off and on.

Also check the settings in Settings/Phone but it's unlikely that that should have changed.

can you receive messages ok?

Are they going into the drafts folder? Does the screen go away? Or is the send button unresponsive?

First I'd do is try a hard reset, but remember you'll loose all saved texts and pics etc. Are you on AT&T?

M.S in what way could AT&T be an issue? I only know a little about AT&T so any extra information would be interesting.
