Guest pharma Posted August 24, 2008 Report Posted August 24, 2008 Hi all, I've searched and come up with nothing. I can't be the first to ask this: In WM6 for BJII, an IMAP account has a setting to "Download entire message" and to "Download first x kb of attachment." The native Exchange account under WM6 offers no such options. I get on a plane, turn off my phone and damn! I've got the first five lines of the message. Now I have to wait 'till I reach Hong Kong to read the rest of the email. (They usually read "Hi, I've got some bad news for you. Remember that beautiful girl you were staring at the other day? Well, I've been... [Click to download entire message]) Again, if this has been discussed before, I apologize for my search ineptitude. pharma
Guest Idiotmitten Posted August 27, 2008 Report Posted August 27, 2008 What do you mean by "native Exchange account"?
Guest pharma Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 What do you mean by "native Exchange account"? Native Exchange vs. IMAP or POP3 mailbox. I have two mail accounts set up in my BJII: 1) "Native" Exchange syncs OTA with my company's Exchange 2003 server. 2) IMAP for my home mail, which syncs with my home mail server. On Acct #2 (the IMAP one) I have lots of options about how much past mail to DL, how many KB for each message and how many KB for attachments. On Acct #1 (the Exch one) I have no options like those above. Regards.
Guest pharma Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 Any takers on this one? I've searched the forums and the web. I see how you adjust settings on an IMAP or POP3 account, but not an ActiveSync Exchange account. Nobody else finds this annoying? Thanks

Guest WearTheFoxHat Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 Go into Activesync, Options ... Select Email ... Then Settings Choose Download Entire Message!
Guest pharma Posted September 14, 2008 Report Posted September 14, 2008 Go into Activesync, Options ... Select Email ... Then Settings Choose Download Entire Message! Oh yeah! That's what I'm talkin' about. Thanks for the pointer. I hadn't realized the OPTIONS were context sensitive as you chose different checkboxes.
