What DOES the power saving mode do?

Maybe reading the manual would tell me this (like i'm gonna do THAT!), but does anyone know what the Start -> Settings -> System -> Power -> Power Save -> Enable power save mode option ACTUALLY does?

Just wondering if we should check this option or not and if anyone has noticed a reduced performance when checked?

it says something about video performance and backlight and display degradation, nothing about clocking down the CPU

It also disables the all radio modules (including phone) when battery reaches 10%

Also it starts limiting max auto-backlight brightness when battery goes into low values - lower it gets, less max brightness.

And yes, it slows down CPU when battery becomes low. What do you think affects video performance? ;)

Didn't happen to me with HG firmware, haven't checked since. Maybe they've changed it.

Yup HG3 and HI1 that definitely happens. <_<

I'm going to activate power save mode now and see if i notice anything.
