Guest Paul (MVP) Posted August 27, 2008 Report Posted August 27, 2008 In response to the rapidly growing name-brand MVNO market, Asda Mobile are to slash their call and text prices from 1st September. Reported in The Times, the move is set to have their call rates while other networks are doing the opposite! Asda confirmed that they will be cutting their flat-rate calls from 16p to 8p, and texts from 5p to 4p. Asda currently has around 150,000 mobile customers, and are pitching themselves as the cheapest of all the MVNO networks. An Asda Mobile SIM will set you back £2.48 from the Asda Mobile site, and you can of course port existing numbers. P

How Random.... £2.48?? Not a bad deal considering it is a Vodafone MVNO although you would expect to get a sim for cheaper than the normal networks... That would mean them paying you though I guess...!
