Hi. Proud user of a SGH-i900, tho no 3G which is a bummer... but on the other side, I don't do torrenting with my phone, so it's okay.

Well, I found out (right here, thanks Paul) that there is a hidden menu when you dial *#1546792*# on the keypad.

I know the first password, too, in preconfiguration.

Now I want to know what's the one in 'Personalize'. this seems to have some options that I would very much like to tweak (Plugged headphones volume, ie...)

Very good question. Any one got into this yet? I think I will post the same question on other communities and if I get the answer I will come back to this for the Modaco crews :D

Can you share the first password?

Of course...

*#81230*#

But beware... You change something there, it's HARD RESET. NO CONFIRMATION. NO NUN. You change, It Hard Resets. Just like that.

You can tweak volume with windows\soundtester.exe, no password :D

Thanks for the tip, Lastnikita. I'll check it out later.

I still want the password, tho, for exploration purposes xD

Exactly the same problem here on Vodafone HH3?

Also, I have tried to access the program directly from Windows\admin.exe

The program starts but the password does not work. I think vodafone have changed it in this ROM.

Please help

thanks in advance

Hello,

I too cannot use the *#1546792*# code, and passwords that work for (almost) everyone do not work for me.

But may be I have a solution for you. Get a copy of admin.exe, the same that you have in your ROM, and open it with a hexadecimal editor. Passwords are there, in clear unicode...

So I found mine, my admin.exe comes from french operator SFR ROM :

*#83301*# --> preconfiguration

*#0807# --> Internal

1234 --> Internal / BT MacAddress

1234 --> Internal / TalkEndTest

Your values might be different, so if you find them please share them for other forum members.

Full path is \Windows\Admin.exe

It is a hidden ROM file and I think it is not possible to copy it directly.
