Guest sfleuriet Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 First off, I do not use ActiveSync for my Calendar. I sync the calendar on my BJII with GooSync. My question - is there a way to disable ALL reminders? It's very annoying to have the All-day event reminders popping up all the time. Thanks
Guest chucky.egg Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 If you want to disable ALL appointment reminders you could just turn off the sound/vibrate option under settings
Guest sfleuriet Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 Already done. It's set to None. The reminders don't make a sound, but the message still pops up. :-/
Guest dtphantom Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 Any other ideas? :D I don't know of a way to globaly disable the reminders, but you can go into the event and set the reminder for never. by default it's 15 minutes.
Guest sfleuriet Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 On each event in Google Calendar?
Guest chucky.egg Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 Yeah, you'd need to find a way to either: 1. Turn off reminders in Google or your sync client, so they don't get sync'd to your device in the first place (but you might want them elsewhere I guess) 2. Turn off the reminders as each item gets sync'd to the device, so that future items get the reminder removed as well Is there an equivalent to the "Display message on screen" option that you get in Sounds & Notifications on PocketPC? That might have the desired effect without having to mess around.
