samsung omnia connection internet

hi, new to the forum, and also really new to smart phones

got a new samsung omnia for my b day yesterday, and i was just wondering, how to find out if the phone is connected to the internet

i live in canada... and the fee for connecting to internet is quite expensive, so not really looking forward of using the internet until i get a plan for it. or else being like a friend of mine getting charged 1,500 for a few days of internet use without knowing.

If you want to play it safe, google NoData here - that will allow you to turn off data access.

Normally you will have a special tiny symbol just above the Signal indicator on the top left of the phone
