Guest bighead Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 I tried to do a hard rest with my i900 by holding the call and end call buttons then long press the power button. I can only done it when i first switch on my device. After that I had to go to the menu to do the hard reset. surely there is something wrong in my device. This is my second i900 from CPW in 2 weeks. Can anyone suggest how to do the hard reset without entering menu pls?
Guest Hendrickson Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 Turn off the device, hold the answer and end call keys, keep holding them as you power on the device again. You will have a screen, answer key to hard rest end key no. Hope that helps

Guest Glenn Kimball Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 My Samsung Omnia SCH-i910 with Verizon was stuck and would not hard reset using all the above techniques. I finally solved it after much trial and error. The way I did it, I chose the Hard Reset in the settings/System page and when it hung, I pressed the talk and end keys simultaneously. This pushed it forward and accomplished a complete hard reset. Hope this helps everyone! B)
