Hi all, i was curious to see if anyone is using the Omnia and a Mac ? I am having great difficulty getting either a micro sd card or the 16gb internal storage to show up as mass storage on my macbook. I never had any problems with either my Touch Diamond or I780. Any ideas on how to solve this.

Thanks in advance :D

Thanks for the reply Paul, it works fine on my wifes Vista machine, and i can get Missing Sync on my macbook to recognise the usb connection (although it does not sync at all) but it refuses to show up as mass storage :D. Thanks again, ill persevere with it.

Go to Start -> Settings -> Connections -> USB Connection Mode -> Mass Storage -> My Storage. Mass Storage works ok for me. It just takes maybe a minute for my MBP to recognize the disk.

I don't use Missing Sync, I use SyncMate (see http://www.eltima.com/products/syncmate/), there is also a Mount Disk function (in beta).

Paul, when you eject the storage, does it re-mount automatically for you? for me I have to eject and plug out the cable so it won't mount again.

Thank you darth maximus, it appears patience is a virtue, my mass storage works fine now, but it does take a long time for the macbook to mount it as as mass storage and it appears i was trying to rush things. And yes i have to unplug the usb cable quickly or else it remounts the drive.

Thanks again :D Craig

Just a quick addition, after mounting as mass storage missing sync now works aswell.....thanks again

I set my Omnia to mass storage, but it takes a lot of time... Sometime it can take up to 15 minutes... Whats wrong i have the newest update!!!

I have i900 OMNIA with 8GB int memory. But I could not mount it in my MAC pro 10.5.2. with read write access.

The device is mounted as read only. It is FAT formatted.

And, sometimes, if I unmount my OMNIA, the system crashes. I have to restart the system that time.

Any solution ??? please ??
