Questions before the purchase..

Hello, i was going to buy this cellphone but i wanted to know some things before that i'm not sure how they work. First is the gps, i read some comments saying that the gps wasn't very good because it took too long to get a lock. Is this true? Can you install garmin here? I live in argentina and a group here is doing all the maps (Gmaps isn't ready here, so if i can't use garmin i'm not going to see aything..) and i would like to use those.

The second one was about msn, can you run this appz in the background and leave it there? And the third one.. the mp3 player is good or you can't use this phone as a mp3 player because it sucks?
