Hello!

I have been tryin to install tomtom on my i900! I have tried about 2 different versions! But none have worked so far! Has any one had any luck installing it? If so what version did you use?

Thanks

DP

Presumably you have a licence to cover the different "versions" you have tried.

If not please read the site rules.

Yes. I don’t have any maps (which you buy online) with them, the versions i am trying are "taster version". Please don’t jump conclusions. Thanks for helpful the answer.

Just checking not jumping :D I noticed you changed your post from 5 differerent versions to 2.

At a guess the only version that may work would be TT7 but at the moment it is only available for the Diamond.

The resolution of the i900 will mean you may get black bars but technically it should work.

Lets hope TT do release a retail PPC version, I know I would use it.

How do you get TTN7

Tom tom told me:

Navigator 6 is no longer under development so there will be no further upgrades to improve compatibility with newer devices. Windows mobile 6 is not officially supportted by us but in many cases will work fine.

Navigator 7 is not available in the UK yet. When it is released it is unlikely to be available as a standalone product which can be purchased as software only. The information that we have now is that it will only be available as pre-loaded on certain devices. There is no list of which devices that will be at this time.

Cheers
