Guest Paul (MVP) Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 So I was flashing the Russian HH5 today, and 40% into the phone flash, it failed and the phone switched off! Oops! Turns out that even though it was plugged in, the battery ran out. I THINK that there are no ill effects (I've managed to re-flash), but I imagine that if that happened at just the wrong point, it could be disastrous. Lesson: Make sure you have plenty of battery before you start flashing games! :D P
Guest GSeeker2 Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 yes, be careful when you plug in the phone via USB cable. the battery will be actually discharging, not charging, even though you see a charging icon on the screen! why samsung won't learn something from HTC :D
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 Not entirely true, I understand that if you are booted and in Mass Storage mode, it charges quite well! P
