Guest sicksadsun Posted September 5, 2008 Report Posted September 5, 2008 hello all ! So is it possible to adjust the Omnia screen sensivity ? I'm asking this question cause it was possible to do it with the diamond.... :D
Guest pidsw Posted September 5, 2008 Report Posted September 5, 2008 I second that one. This is the only phone that I have had where I cannot locate sensitivity settings. The closest thing that I have found are settings in the registry for: - Touch.dll - Screen Calibration. I am not sure if any of these have an effect, they both seem iffy to me. I have heard that on most phones the screen calibration has sensitivity settings as well as LCD vs touchscreen mapping, but I have no idea what the numbers mean.

I tried changing the value of HKLM\Hardware\Device Map\TOUCH\ Click & Downup I'm not sure but it seems more sensative when changing the click. I changed mine from 1280 to 100000. I'm not sure what the Downup does but I changed it from 250 to 5000. Did not notice really anything from Downup Maybe someone else can test and get your thoughts. I try to use the screen calibration as a test of sensitivity Edited September 6, 2008 by bobsbbq
