start menu opens when touching screen with finger

Hi,

When I use my finger on my HTC trinity screen (rather than using the stylus) sometimes the start menu opens. At first I didn't understand why, but then when I opened the notes application and used my finger to draw on the screen I noticed that sometimes a line appears from my finger to the top left corner of the screen, even though I didn't touch there... It's as though the screen is confused and it detects a touch on the top left corner.

Anyone have a clue why this is happening?

Sounds like you need to re-align the screen. Have you done that yet? It's under Start -> Settings -> System -> Screen

Give it a go and see how you get on with it.
