GPS locked network provider?

Hi,

I have a Omnia which was locked to the operator TMN, Portugal. After unlocking it, the GPS does not seem to work when I insert a different SIM card. the GPS works ok when using a TMN sim card!!

Does this make any sense?? I have read some posts that there are other having the same issue.. Can operators block usage of GPS if the phones are unlocked and used with other operators??

Is there any registry fix for enabling the GPS??
