Guest Nyjumpman23 Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 Hi guys, Curiosity? Is there a way to change the alarm ringer to like...the ringtones you use on the phone?(instead of the default stuf from the drop down list?) Don't get me wrong, the alarms are okay I suppose, but nothing like waking up to you favorite tune/song right? My Nokia N95 and SE w900, used to have it.

Try placing your files either in the root of My Storage or \My Storage\My Documents, the files I have in these locations are being picked up by the Alarms app. Could also try \My Device\My Documents but space could possibly be an issue.

I'm going to try that right now...Hold up(and does it require any type of format ala .mp3/.wav,etc?) (thanks for the quick reply)

(thanks for the quick reply) I tried moving/copying one of my ringtones over and then went into the ALARM option. Went down the drop down list, and no luck. =/
Guest gil71 Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 Try to put it either in My Documents\My Ringtones or on your Storage directly in the root \My Ringtones, worked fine for me on the Storage Card. You can also put your ring sound in this folder. If not work, try to put it directly into the Windows Folder, because the Alarm.mp3 is also there. Maybe make a Softreset and check again if visible then in the Alarm Option.

Not sure why you cant see them in the alarm app, I can also see them in the phone app options. Are your files visible there as well? Hit your call button, then Menu, options.
