Error msg when trying to delet files??

im trying to delet old files from my phone in file explorer but it keeps on coming up with the error msg ((( error deleting file.. problem deleting file)) havent a clue why its happening...im trying to get rid of some files because its saying memroy status critical which i dont understand as its got like 8gb of internal memory and ive only used 330 mb of it so frustrating,.. and ideas folks cheers ;)

also can someone please tell me alhtough im saving what ever the data is to the storage memory... my phone keeps saying memory critical ill will not recieve any sms until some old files have been deleted!?!? i understand the device memory is very small but when im allocating the data to the storage memory why is the device memory throwing a fit!!!!!?? isnt there an easy way just to save to the storage meory permantley bypassing the device memory all together.. because its driving me nuts .... <_< ;) :wacko:

hmm ok mayb im getting conffused its saying the storage memory is critically low but isnt that the 8gb internall memory?? hmm in wich case i certainly don have any were 8gb s worth of data if anything its more like 800mb ,,, damm im conffused its saying free up some memory or transfer it to my storage card wich is a 1gig micro sd... so were is this secret 8gig... i presume the device memory is the one with all the inbuilt stuff already the storage is the 8gig and the storage card is my own 1gig memroy card or am i completly wrong im feelin dizzy already ;)
