Guest Paul (MVP) Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 Anyone had a good play with the MITs Wizard app for the i900 from the bundled CD? Looks pretty good really... P http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ms5is9f8mzy
Guest gavinfabl Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 Yep, its certainly is. Similar to that provided with the Samsung i780.
Guest bobsbbq Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 What is it? a game or what does it do?
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 It's a backup utility, device manager etc. P
Guest 1Mack Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 Yes it is nice BUT I hope in future versions they gie it some of the fetures that the SS PC Suite has like the ability to send sms and edit contacts ;)
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 It's still better than what you get with your HTC device ;) P
Guest melvynadam Posted December 23, 2008 Report Posted December 23, 2008 I installed it with all the other bundled software but never got around to investigating it further. Just now I launched it for the first time (out of curiosity) and it began a long process of updating itself. In the meantime I googled it to see what I was about to get myself into - this thread was one of the first results! Backup manager is very rudimentary which is a pity because 95% of the code is there to make this a killer app. If it could be automated to run every time you connect the device and perform incremental backups it would be phenomenal. The rest looks like a decent enough way to get multimedia files off the device. Shame there's no way to direct files to the device. Even better would have been a way to copy files to different areas of the device (storage card, my storage, etc.). Still, like someone said above, it's better than nothing.
